The Christmas 2023 Menu

We are pleased to announce this year's Christmas Menu is now available. We can confidently deliver any size group.
We believe the menu is extremely competitively priced and good value for money.
We can only suggest booking early to secure a table.
The Cross Keys Christmas Menu is available from the Sunday 3rd December to Saturday 23rd December (excluding Sunday Nights).

Calling all casual Staff Christmas Party People

Aimed at the more casual Staff Christmas Party, we are offering a most affordable choice of hot & cold buffet choices for groups of 30 to 100.
Of course, we are also offering a more formal sit down 2 and 3 course Christmas Dinner but we have to cap sit down meals to around 50 people.
We have a proven track record of hosting large Christmas, New Years' Eve and Birthday Parties and located right in the centre of the town. We are more than confident we can make your Christmas Party a night to remember.
It is fair to say you will have exclusive use of the function room and great for making toasts and/ or any company announcements.
Upon booking, we will include for free the very historic Function Room complete with a real well and flagstones to dance and mingle on and enjoy a great night . This gives you a chance to source your own DJ or party music to your taste.
There is a lot of space to spread out, side rooms for quieter chats and a vastly stocked bar where the open log burning fire will most likely be roaring away to complement the ambience of candles and Christmas party cheer.
There is also the walled garden outside the function room where you can cool off and sit back in an Adirondack chair to admire the stars above or just gaze into each other's eyes.
Give the person responsible for organising your Staff Christmas Party this year a tag, or point out what we are offering. We have over 10 years experience of running fabulous events and parties, just ask anybody who has attended our NYE parties.
Please be aware the dates towards Christmas will be on a first come, first served basis. Once we receive an initial deposit, the date is set firmly in our diary.
The one thing we cannot guarantee is a ghost sighting, you may or may not not experience one of the many well documented apparitions.

Our Other Menus
 
Meal timings are 11:00 - 14:00 for Lunch (Including £5.00 Specials) and 18:00 - 21:00 for the Main Menu and we would thoroughly recommend booking a table in advance. We strive to accommodate everybody and we would appreciate a declaration of any individual food allergies or special dietary requirements.
There are usually the Chef's Special Boards on, on most nights.
Please note, there is no food served on a Sunday Night unless there is explicit agreement with The Cross Keys Management and there would have to be exceptional circumstances.

Steak Night (Wednesday and Thursday Night)

For mid-week dining, we offer a highly competitive Steak Nights for meat lovers as Sirloin, Rump and Rib-Eye Steaks. We do strongly suggest booking a table in advance.

We do offer a sensitive approach to Vegetarians, Celiacs and anybody with food allergies so please do make us aware of any conditions when booking. If we know about it, we can do something about it.

 

 

 

The Cross Keys Loyalty Card Scheme

Have a free meal on us!
Loyalty is a primary virtue and we would like to share that with you. How?
Collect your lunchtime card and receive a bespoke good old fashioned unique stamp. Collect ten and receive your free meal on us.
(Collect 2 stamps on a Saturday lunchtime).
T & C’s do apply to protect both sides, we believe in fair play.

 

Sunday Roast

We are running a ( ideally pre-booked required) Sunday Roast from Noon to 4:00 PM , and we offer; Roast Lamb, Pork, Roast Beef, Turkey (and/ or Roast Chicken), all plated with a separate dish of seasonal vegetables and gravy. The standard price is £10.95. Please note, all meats are subject to availability.

In addition, we can offer the Lunchtime menu as well.

Curry Night

We offer a Curry Night with a choice of three Chicken Curries on a Friday Night; Mild, Medium and Hot. It's very popular so again, we would strongly suggest booking your table in advance; £9.95.

 

The Cross Keys Monthly Pub Quiz

The Cross Keys Pub Quiz, as a fund raiser for the Chatteris Christmas Lights is now  ran on the last Sunday of every month from 7:30 pm (Except December).
